The NWCSP is delighted to announce the publication of the latest tissue viability paper from Wounds UK, which gives a brief Introduction to national secondary care data sets and their use in capturing and reporting pressure ulcer occurrence.
Published on 13th of September, this paper introduces the concept of using more suitable data sources to capture and report pressure ulcer metrics, using data from existing data sources and reducing the burden of data collection for clinical staff.
This paper is the second of three tissue viability papers to be published in Wounds UK and follows the publication of the Brief History of Pressure Ulcer Management paper in June.
