In March 2025, the programme will come to a close, but this website is accessible until June 2025.
Health and care professionals can access NWCSP resources by signing up to the Improving Wound Care: Building on the NWCSP FutureNHS workspace – the new home of the resources due to go live shortly.
About the Programme
The National Wound Care Strategy programme (NWCSP) is commissioned by NHS England to improve care for people with wounds.
NWCSP Publications
We are developing a range of resources to help health and care professionals deliver better wound care and to help patients and carers understand what good care looks like and how to help care for their wounds.
Improving Wound Care
We are working with hospitals, community hospitals, community nursing, general practice, care homes and home care providers in our First Tranche Implementation sites to understand the challenges and develop solutions for improving wound care.
